Young children love to explore, but because they can’t read yet, they may not know what is safe. Many kids put things in their mouths, which can be dangerous if they pick up something that looks like food but is actually a cleaner or medicine. Bright colors and packaging can make harmful products look like candy or drinks. In this lesson, children learn how to spot dangerous items and why they should always ask an adult before touching or tasting anything they find.
