Yoga for Young Children is to inform you of a new activity you can try with your class, chances are you will learn a tip or two for yourself. Yoga is not just for kids, it’s for everyone and research has established that yoga has many beneficial side effects.

This lesson will show you:
  • How yoga has been adapted into a fun, healthy routine that young children can enjoy!

  • Identify the health benefits of yoga
  • Recognize the common yoga poses
  • Belly breathing
  • Determine ways of using yoga in your class Identify classroom resources available
